Title: Planes at Lisbon

Date: June 2000

Story:

Lisbon's airport location is such, that planes must fly over the city's core. While most landings don't disturb local residents, there is one spot (a faculty: ISCTE) where the jacts' turbines do shake the windows!

Most of these pictures were taken one friday, late afternoon. Notice the sky changing from grey to pink!

Picture #4 is very different from all the others: it shows what looks like a plane on land. And it really is a plane on land, though it was no crash... That plane was intentionally placed there to service as a bar :). I don't know if the business is still running, but I can't understand what gets people to spend hours inside a tight cylinder...
