Title: On the road #03 - Évora / Portugal

Date: Summer 2000

Story:

Évora is a beautiful city, 110km south east of Lisbon. Unfortunately I never visited it "for real".

As all the other exhibits in my Mavica / on the road collection, the pictures you see here are taken from inside my car, while driving :)

Still, if you are aware that every still is "natural" in the sense that it was taken while just doing the road that crosses the city, you have to admit what they say about Évora's beauty: just observe the castle walls, the green fields and the blue skies, the white houses and the cows eating ealthy grass (most european cows don't run on grass...)...

All is very reminiscent of Romanesque and Gothic features, and there are so many national monuments that you probably won't find greater historic interest in the entire country.
