Open GL Tutorial debuts + Site News!
A couple of days latter than first announced, the Open GL tutorial is up & running. This tutorial will happen in sync with the MS Visual C++ 6.0 tutorial.
Other site news are that I've finally found the time to update the contents frame on your left. That frame is now DHTML style sheets enhanced, and it finally links to the NEW VIDEOS and TUTORIALS sections! Those sections have also been built using the current site style, but most of the web pages, are still to be edited.
Of course I am no longer accepting submissions about the Martina Hingis vs Steffi Graf tennis final. Steffi Graf won on the field, but your answers were more Hingis oriented. 60% of the votes were on the 18 years old player; the remaining 40% were, of course, on the great Graf.
You are still very much wanted to input your opinion on the Half-Life finale. This other "questionnaire" will run until the end of the week.

The
shitty SIC TV, who was supposed to broadcast Buffy,
the Vampire Slayer [BTVS] series in Portugal, simply is
not respecting the viewers, as always.
SIC has the crap tradition of not airing the credits of any movie, documentary or episode! As soon as the credits start, they cut off the show. SIC is also known for never, ever, broadcasting on schedule, and for their brain washing home-made shows, such as "Big Show SIC" [BSC], where you can find the most ridiculous people, in the entire world of television, including those Bangladesh productions :-) BSC consists of a mongoloid [and I am not talking about the regular Down's syndrome - this is a much worse case] named João Baião, a set of horrible women dressed like cheap [free?] prostitutes, musical performers even worst than me [and I don't know how to play a single instrument], all packed in a 3 hours marathon that assures a much lower IQ, in just a few minutes... SIC has regular in-studio audiences of monkeys, disguised as people, that scream and applause whenever the "applause" light turns on, no matter the context. It is that kind of station... It's a shame they have the rights for BTVS. Remember that the superb BTVS and its main actress [Sarah Michelle Gellar] have been regular subjects at these pages. For example, take a look at days 2 18 20 and 24 of May 1999. |

Today, my Alain Prost Racing website debuts a TOCA 2 review. Is the latest from CODE MASTERS, at least as good as the original? What about the "photographic quality" graphics? Are they true? Go read it... |
My 3rd SETI packet has just been delivered

After having submitted my 2nd data packet to SETI@home, I've downloaded my 3rd task. SETI@home is a distributed computer project, where you get to check radio data packets, recorded by radio telescopes, in search for non random patterns that may correspond to the first ever alien intelligent communication with Earth. SETI was first commented at these pages, day 11 May 1999. |
