http://www.ifpi.org/home.html (International Federation of Phonographic Industry) is going against http://web.fast.no/company/det.asp?id=8 (Fast Search & Transfer ASA), a norwegian company that offers the MP3 search service, that you can find from the Lycos website. This one may be a very hard legal case, since it refers to a worldwide matter (MP3), as referenced by an european company (Fast Search), from an USA partner (Lycos). Whose law is to apply?
Anyway, MHO is that ifpi should stop such actions and rethink how to live in these new digital times; after all, many commercial bands are LEGALLY offering their stuff, and many others are finding the MP3 format and the Internet, great tools that can catapult them to the masses.
