I've published a mini-review of the 4th incarnation of the NFS racing series, Need for Speed - High Stakes. You can read that mini-review @ my APR [Alain Prost Racing] website, where you will also find some commented screen shots.

If you didn't know APR is my website 100% dedicated to racing games on any platform: PC, PSX, DREAMCAST, N64, ARCADE, etc... However, the PC is king on the available material :)

The mini-review also links to a file that fixes the world famous problem with NFS-HS, that prevents people from playing the game, if their PC has multiple CDROM drives!

 

VCPP6 Lesson #3 available!

Today, you should really visit the Tutorials Section! I've completed and published lesson #3 of the Visual C++ 6 course that has been running since May 1999, and things are really getting interesting. Lesson #3 teaches you about VCPP6 controls, applying that knowledge to the build of a Game Launcher!
