Today [03:59]: #1) Audio debuts! #2) European Raves

www.audiopt.com finally debuts!

A quick note just to say that I've designed another website, this time for the superb audio related magazine AUDIO. The website is still in its final testing stages, but you can already visit it @ www.audiopt.com. Notice that the "contents frame" on your left displays a new logo picture, precisely for my newest web. The AUDIO website is [for now] only available in portuguese.

European Raves

Last saturday [10 July 1999], Berlin, in West Germany, Europe, held one of the biggest rave parties, ever! Over 1000000 [1 million] people were present! It was a Techno rave party, although musical preferences seem to be changing, as the less repetitive rhythms suggested.

European raves are running away from Trance tendencies and this year's event did show that. Remember that Trance is dominant, for example @ all eastern countries and Israel [made famous since 1998's 80000 people Tel Aviv party, stopped by the police :)].

Berlin hosted a very sophisticated event, where many DJs and mixers were backed up by the highest quality hardware. Sound quality was really superb.

Some media call the Berlin party the "Love Party", but the truth is that the event is populated by all kinds of persons and there were almost no outrageous happenings...

Compare that to France's public raves, only allowed since January 1999, and only for parties with strict rules and an organization to check their appliance!

The reason is that France's ravers are the youngest of them all [many below minimum legal age] and they easily let those hormones go :)

Go visit www.audiopt.com in order to download videos of the Berlin party. Those videos were recorded live!

The images on your left are NOT from Berlin. They are from a 1998 Paris rave party. Pretty girls and their hormones :)
