Today [23:30]: #1) Delta Force completed!; #2) MS Frontpage 2000

Delta Force completed

I've completed Delta Force in the "normal" difficulty setting. My soldier [female] ALESI, completed the 40 missions with 1302 kills. So what happens when you complete the [single player] game? Answer: the same that happens when you complete any regular mission, ie, a small congratulations message.

This calls for the not so recent discussion "are games not rewarding the player enough?"... your opinion should be sent to the regular e-mail *contact*.

Well, since I've killed 1302 computer simulated people, that makes me a potential real life killer, right :-)?

This stupid question rises from the recent association that some people are trying to establish between computer games and youth violence... get REAL: the way you behave comes from every single occurrence on your life, and not JUST from what you eat, what you listen, what you watch, what you play, who you sleep with, who you love, who you hate, your religion, your hates, your likes, your dislikes, and so on... STOP trying to REDUCE this [and other] questions to two or three causes.

Download ALESI and her impressive CV [1 K ZIP file - instant download] - unzip the file to your Delta Force folder. It will overwrite your player02.ply file! IF you are using that file for your own player, back it up first. Then give me some feedback on the soldier!

Microsoft Front Page 2000 not that cool

Front Page, the world's most popular high level HTML editor / web publisher [the one behind these pages, for example] is one of the components of the Office 2000 package. The big question is: does it improve on Front Page 98? Well, after some minutes using it, my answer is IT DOES NOT improve on FP98... the interface suffered a major redesign and you will stop finding the traditional and logical distinction between Front Page Explorer and Front Page Editor. Front Page Editor has many traditional options, such as bookmarks on different menus, accessible from different accelerator keys... and that will make it harder for webmasters to make the transition.

So, what is REALLY NEW on FP2000? Answer: I will write a decent report, soon... you just wait.
