M25 Racer - the worst commercial driving game, ever!

You will not believe how _bad_ M25 Racer is! It truly achieves a mediocrity never before seen! It has got to be the most horrendous car racing game, ever designed!

The game is about racing @ UK's M25 highway, against other maniacs, facing the police and the traffic. While its graphics might look good in snapshots [check the left column], the truth is that the game is as playable, as a quality picture of a Porsche, in a magazine! It stinks! A LOT!

How come a team of obviously intelligent people delivers such a crap product, is a mystery and a sad example of what might happen with the growth of well documented 3rd party APIs: some games are not true games, but more of technology demos! M25 Racer is just a demo of what the programmers can do in graphical terms, because it really doesn't show anything else... and the graphics still are very outdated.

M25 is simply unplayable. I tried it with a MS FF steering wheel, and experienced the dullest, most ridiculous interactions, ever! Think about any ZX SPECTRUM racing game, and you will be thinking about something much, much better!

There is no force feedback support, you can't redefine the joystick keys, graphics don't display over 640x480, you can't choose the rendering device, and when you ask for help, you get a context insensitive screen, that always displays a crap story about the M25 races! Unbelievable, but true!

M25 Racing is as exciting, as watching a snail moving up a white wall, for two hours, in slow motion! The engine's noise is sampled from those kitchen devices that are used to fragment vegetables, and it really does feel as if no one ever played the damn software!

For example, if you hit another vehicle from the wrong angle, you might get stuck against it for minutes, trying to steer away! And if the cops do spot you speeding, they go after you with the determination Homer Simpson will go to work! How come did this happen?! How can such an obviously crap achievement hit the stores, as a commercial title?! I am so sorry for having paid for it! I am sorry for everyone who will pay for it!

Extreme Mountain Biking - Extreme sh*t

While M25 Racer stinks, Extreme Mountain Biking [EMB] is something on a special class of its own! It surely is very, very hard, to find a "game" worst than EMB! This is extreme sh*t! I am sorry for almost writing the full word, but the adjective would be very much deserved.

Satan @ hell is now installing EMB on all the computers, in order to service an eternity of disgrace to his best clients :)

EMB is not only unplayable, but also a graphical failure, and - worst of all - features no relation to real bikes! For example, there is no energy bar, and riding faster is just a question of pressing the pedal button! It is just like the worst motorcycling game, without the speed, without the engines' noises and with no regard to that creature known as the player!

No words can do justice to how bad this "game" is.
