Carolyn's son of Gil

Carolyn Horn (steve@horn.demon.co.uk) sent me this 3rd generation norn, son of GIL, some weeks ago, but since the day I lost 13 months of e-mails :-(, I've been having a hard time to bring my e-correspondence back to normal. I am sorry.

So, just like Carolyn wrote, "here is a third generation norn which I think you may find interesting. His parents were both cross-breeds between the lovely GIL norn and Lis Morris' Canny norns". I hope you like him.

Be a parent! Go download this love needing creature, from the GIL section! Remember that you must own BOTH the software toy Creatures 2 and my own GIL creature [installed], in order to have fun & nightmares with it :-)

Domain names are selling fast

As I previewed, with the approach of year 2000 [which will be the last year of the 20th century, contrary to popular's belief], domain names, mainly .com domain names, are selling *very fast*... in fact, they are selling faster than they ever did and there are only some three thousand words that you'll find in a regular dictionary, that are still not registered!! Everyone wants to be on the Internet until 2000, and the best way to do it is to grab a domain name, which you can register for FREE from www.register.com. You'll only have to pay 70 USD (~13500 escudos) to INTERNIC, and that is better done using a VISA card.

Once you have registered your name, you DO NOT have to pay to host it. Geocities does that for FREE, offering you 10 MB of *fast* web space. In Portugal, Terrāvista hosts your page for free, too, but they are very discriminating and damn slow, compared to other HD providers.

In order to AVOID a stupid and hard to remember address, such as geocities.com/some_place/some_address, or terravista.pt/uma_praia/um_chapéu_de_sol, www.parked.com will park, or associate, your registered name to your specified address, for, I think, 50 USD.

That's the way you do it. Don't ask again :-)
