Bart sings better than me!

Homer goes for a Santa Claus job. As always, the Simpsons are short on cash.

Very much bright enhanced and gamma touched image, of Prosty parachutist, falling in by night.

IR explosions look like this...

The Simpsons, Xmas 1990 [is 9 years old!]

Episode #7G08 of The Simpsons - Christmas 1990 Special - is now 9 years old! Time flies! The Simpsons aren't an easy series to watch in Europe. After some popularity in the middle 90s, Springfield got forgotten by the massive media. What a shame!

Portugal and England once were the best european countries for Simpsons' lovers, since everywhere else you would get Bart talking german, spanish and so on... Yet, in Portugal the series just ceased to exist, replaced by the total crap shows, where chicks handle machine guns like teddy bears, walking semi-nude and talking @ a sentence rate lower than the one a professional soccer player can achieve! :)

Yes, passive television is running very low on quality, and things can only get worst if brilliant stuff like The Simpsons doesn't get broadcasted!

While me having the 1990 Xmas Special might seem not much for most of you, the truth is that the episode is a great piece of entertainment, and a very rare one too, at least for a portuguese boy who was barely an adult [in legal terms], by 1990!

I just love The Simpsons and I am very very sorry for not watching Matt Groening's piece of Art, regularly :(

The 1990 Christmas episode was about Santa's Little Helper - Simpsons' dog! Do you remember? It all happened because of a tattoo... It really is a very emotional 23 minutes adventure!

Go download a small 30 seconds MPEG video of it!, from the dormant video section. It is worth every byte and every second!

Delta Force 2 [DF2] gets impressive!

When DF2 was first reviewed by magazines, no one wrote a single page without a reference to Hidden and Dangerous [H&D]! And, even less inspiring, DF2 was considered inferior to H&D, despite being a very different approach to the soldier simulator genre, meaning not that much comparable...

Now that I have played deep both into DF2 and H&D, I can assure you that most reviewers simply did not dedicate more than 1, 2 hours to the game!

Today I completed missions Hold Up and Power Trip, from operation Common Resolve.

These missions are absolutely astonishing! In Hold Up, you'll have to face a foggy scenery, and stop a convoy. In Power Trip, you go infiltrate a communications hub, deep in the jungle, by night and starting as a parachutist! Just check the diversity!

While the Hold Up fog is a spectacular demo of NOVALOGIC's Voxel power, Power Trip is one of the most atmospheric adventures you'll get into, at least until 2000 :)

You start many feet above ground, and can even watch yourself landing, by night. Despite being full moon, you'll have to use Infra-Red [IR] vision, if you are to stand a chance against the enemy [black] soldiers. And if you are "just" expecting being fired at, open your eyes and check the passive traps on the terrain!

Amazing detail! DF2 is simply impressive!, and I bet things will improve even further!

Moe is a sad dude, but is Homer you'll feel sorry at.

Paycheck! Miserable paycheck! Let's bet it on a dogs' race...

Part of the communications hub rests here. Inside this field, there are 3 com dishes.

Two helis can be bad for your health...
