Today [23:59]: #1) Buffy + MPEG2

On a Buffy mood + MPEG2 SOFWARE ONLY SOLUTIONS

This weekend I will post a MPEG file of the original Buffy, the Vampire Slayer introduction. The current video quality of the MPEG file, makes it too big for download, but I will reduce its size next saturday. If there is enough demand, I might even post the entire clip @ full quality settings. And **if** (highly improbable) many of you are wanting to download broadcast quality stuff, I just might lay my hands on the job of building a HIGH QUALITY MPEG2 movie clip.

This drives me to the matter of current SOFTWARE ONLY PC DVD PLAYERS. The scene is growing, but my current favorite has got to be XING's DVD PLAYER. XING has a tradition of speed, and its current software solution is the only in the world doing full DOLBY DIGITAL (AC3) decoding, 30 fps, and achieving that performance on a regular P2-333. More: XING is 100% free; in fact, this is one of the few 100% free XING products. I do advise you to hurry downloading it, before they find out all the other DVD player solutions are asking for money.
