Just like it happens in every mob movie, the bride traveled on a SE Mercedes!

excerpts from a diary...

[...] the last few days were hard on me. Sunday was all spent @ my cousin's wedding and stuck on traffic, when returning home! It took me over 2 hours to drive some lousy 140 km [1 mile = 1.602 km]. Monday didn't allow me to update the website, as I was out all day... and had to face, again, over 2 hours of traffic!

That brings us to today, tuesday... and I am kind of dry on new ideas, so I will just publish some pictures and a video, shot @ the wedding. This means there is NEW stuff @ the Video Section.

Since I don't tune any religion, for me, the greatest moment of the wedding day, was NOT @ the church... it was @ "Hotel dos Templários", Tomar, when the once-bride, sang "West Virginia".

"What a voice", everyone commented... and you too can have a taste of it, by downloading the singe digital document that testifies it, since I had run out of floppies, tape and battery [!], minutes before this surprise acting...

Go ahead and download the 471 K ZIP file of a MPEG movie, that shows nearly 30 seconds of a very unusual [and beautiful] wedding situation...

The pictures on your left were chosen, kind of randomly... but they are great choices! The top picture, which is available in a high quality version, by clicking on it, highlights the bride, her father and her fiancé... [you'll have to find out who is who]... then you have, despite the ties and the cigarrilos, some very cool business men, always in the mood for a laugh! They are absolutely great!

The middle picture, is the Internet debut of someone kind of alien to this technology... Jorge won't probably see this picture ever, which is a shame, but he surely deserves to go public at least once! Jorge prefers nature to electrical enclosure, which surely prevents him from being agoraphobic :)

At last, you have a Special Edition [SE] Mercedes, which is as big as a bus... OK, not that big, but I can guarantee that, except for some enormous american cars, 4 wheel drive doesn't get much less pratical... And yes, I erased the plate :), yet you can spot a huge volume on the left side, corresponding to my cousin, trying to fit her gigantic dress on the gigantic car.

It was raining, on the way to Tomar / Ribatejo / Portugal. But it was a beautiful day. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed it! Were you there? e-mail me!

The walls are plenty on paintings, and this one from Hitler, gives you trouble holding your fire, to spare ammo...

Hidden gets more dangerous

Hidden and Dangerous [H&D], the game that I've been playing this September [check the previous September updates], doesn't stop getting better! The Germany missions are simply superb, far better than all the previous ones.

Despite having a Voxel oriented 3D engine, that prevents the game from exploiting current popular 3D accelerators [which can only accelerate regular polygon based software], H&D goes wild on the looks, and c3m1, shows some very interesting interiors, in a mission where you have to blow up some archives, kept inside a big, well guarded house...

C3m2, also mostly spent under a roof and between tight walls, goes one step further ahead, as its transparency effects, through windows, are very much amazing. The game's audio, something that never got my attention, from moment zero, now highlights some serious quality, again very noticeable, on c3m2, where you have to cross a forest, and enter the villa to kill everyone, but an important general, that must be used to unveil some military plans. As you approach the house, the forest's noises go lower on volume, but you can still hear them, from the inside, on a perfectly natural audio representation of the surroundings!

Both files must be unzipped and extracted to your \savegame\single folder. I play as "Artur", and you should create a player with such name, in order to use my files.
