Kipling got... ahamm... kipled...
As I previewed day 21 March, Kipling's website got HACKED, after the manufacturer having challenged hackers to crack a login / password protection, that was proofing to be very hard to beat. But that was not the problem: what hackers did NOT like was the "hacker definition" that Kipling was promoting, in order to support their new line of bags. Well, yesterday, the site was showing a "Sorry, we've been hacked... Site under reconstruction" message :-).
More: the same day, the login / password was found, by "Mooby", the guy behind the brute force scheme reported day 21. Then the protection was told to many other people (+100), and all should receive the Kipling prizes!
Colin McRae, from the world famous Code Master's rally simulator, won the portuguese rally, that finished today at 13:30 local time. If the rally had lasted one more day, or IF two special stages haven't been canceled due to too many public, I believe that the TOYOTAs of Didier Auriol and Carlos Sainz would have won. Auriol never lifted the foot and won the last stage, with +9 seconds advantage over McRae, finishing VERY close to his team mate, on 3rd place. Rallys are now very much like F1, with every second counting a LOT.
Portuguese driver Rui Madeira finished 9th with a very modest car, proofing again to be one of the best, still without the support and money needed to fly to a more worthy scenario...
The world's most interesting female tennis player is playing NOW (21:19) against another interesting player (Schett). Martina debuts a new look, much lighter on clothes... The Europe is at war, but nothing can bring sorrow to a tennis court where such professionals are playing.

This is the [portuguese] stage where GUNS N' ROSES performed, some years ago. I didn't forget about posting the story of a certain picture posted here, day 16 March... Hang on. |
