Unreal Tournament is so cool! I completed the Death match challenges and I am now doing the Domination game, where you have to team with computer controlled players and score 1 point for each 5 seconds of domination of a particular scenario's zone. The domination is represented by the color of a special symbol. When the color is the color of your team, you are dominating the zone in the range of the symbol. To dominate, just touch the symbol.

Unexperienced players, like myself, have the tendency to play Domination as if playing Death match But that is of no good, and you'll probably don't score much. The key thing is showing your AI friends that you are guarding a symbol, so they can go and guard others. If you sniper gifted, this is the best occasion to hide somewhere, then shoot from a safe distance at the head of your enemies, when they are about to dominate your area. Bloody!

This is very hard. As hard as Quake 3 Arena, but is more fair. You'll never feel cheated. When you start missing or going down too many times, it will be because you don't know the map, don't have the right weapon, or don't know how to use the weapons the way your adversaries do.

For example, I never use the teleport device, which is something that teleports you to the place where you last left a special marker. I just am not good / fast enough to scroll through all the weapons and choose the best one to the occasion, after a teleport.

I will improve... in a year or so... :)

After an initial grace period, I am getting a little bored with Rally Championship [RC]. Sure the game is more realistic than Colin McRae Rally [CMR], where stages don't run for more than 5 minutes, but the 30 km challenges are becoming a bit too defying...

For example, at Scotland, the final stage happens on a rainy day, through narrow twisty roads, surrounded by authentic ramps, that will rocket your car wheels up, when you least expect. Just touch the grass, and you might damage your vehicle, to the point of loosing a gear or destroying a suspension. This happens because the roads, in order to keep the frame rate high, are built of a relatively small number of polygons. Edges are everywhere.

Anyway, the annoying part was the loss of the 2nd gear, and then there were some trees on my path... The Peugeot arrived a mess, dropping me to the 3rd final position, on my class.

Is there any 100% dry tarmac rally waiting for me?! No more rain & ramps, please!
