Boston Digital Theater 6000 is a desktop solution for high quality surround sound. Here is one of the 5 speakers.
The Boston Subwoofer is what makes the difference for other systems: it is quite powerful, for its specs & size.
Creative Labs DXr3 - also on review.
Not that many cables - the Boston is simple, considering the many parts. |

Labs DXr3 + PC-DVD 6 Pope + Fátima + Lúcia The pope is @ Portugal. Shaking all over the body, the successor of Saint Peter, aka vicar of Christ, aka supreme pontiff of the universal church, aka etc... insists on traveling and justifies his perseverance with a sentence that is - for me - the best anyone could come up with: "God never asks you more than you can give". When the pope comes to Portugal, he really comes to visit Fátima, ~120 km far from Lisbon. Why? Read what follows. Virgin Mary, which of course never existed, was seen six times, from 13 May 1917 to 13 October 1917. Why she never appeared since the day Science probably has the technology to register this kind of events, is a mystery, or it maybe says something about people's imagination... (cough cough)... Mary appeared to three children, Lúcia dos Santos and her two cousins; these two would die very young. But Lúcia still lives and, from what the world could see today @ Fátima / Portugal, she is OK and spending her days doing rosaries - she will be offering 300 of these necklaces to the pope... I wonder what the pope will do with them... Lúcia is now a carmelite, one of the many, many (again many), religious orders, you can find @ Fátima. Fátima is just the right place to go and buy beautiful pictures of the pope, rosaries, religious crosses, and all kind of stuff which surely will grant you a place in heaven. Many people travel to Fátima, because they did "promises" and / or saved themselves of complicated situations. Some travel for miles, down on the knees, which surely is not comfortable. Other go by train, which is faster... (cough, cough... damn coughing). As time goes by, Fátima forgets Cova da Iria, the real place where Mary was reported. It is just business, following the exploration of three children, who really don't know what they saw, ie if they saw something at all... There are foreign (neutral) documentaries about the event, and it seems that Lúcia & cousins were very much pressed to speak about it, following strict rules... Portugal was not a Democracy, back then... But it is good; at least as good as everywhere else, where people go because of Religion. People need fantasies / something they can hold on to, when the "reality" is not kind enough. That's why computer games sell :) That's why Fátima sells. Discuss this @ the Religion / Religião forum.
