You have an ISO of a Blu-Ray disc, but can’t watch it…
Blu-Ray discs can be dumped to ISO files.
Usually, the main file in the structure will be at \BDMV\STREAM\00001.m2ts, corresponding to a MPEG Transport Stream, holding a AVCHD (Audio Video Compressed High Definition) video – an usual format for SONY’s high definition (HD) consumer cameras and for HD content on the Playstation 3.
Unfortunately, Microsoft’s Windows will probably complain about this ISO structure, saying “unreadable disc”, when not using a Blu-Ray drive, due to the way the default ASPI layer works, when accessing regular DVD units.
Using software that accesses drives via SPTI, like Smart Projects’ ISOBUSTER, it is possible to mount the ISO in some virtual drive, or burn it to a physical DVD, and then browse the structure, to the 00001.m2ts file.
ISOBUSTER will then allow the “extraction” of that single file – the file should be playable, at least after installing some good codecs package, like “K-Lite codec pack”, available from
http://www.free-codecs.com/K_lite_codec_pack_download.htm
Be warned: 1080p AVCHD files put “heavy” demand on players – the video might stutter.
